Job Summary:

The Resident Care Partner is a non-professional employee trained to provide personal care and related services to residents in the community according to documented, individualized service and care plans. He/she functions under the Healthcare Coordinator. May be a Certified Nurse’s Aide but this is not required.

Essential Functions:

  • Obtains vital signs, records and notifies the supervising nurse of deviations per Individual Service Plan (ISP) as per resident’s tasks on POC or EMAR orders.
  •  May provide assistance with the following:
    •  Personal hygiene (bathing, grooming, hair care, shaving, skin care)
    • Change bed linens and make bed
    • Toileting and Incontinent Care
    • Nutritional and fluid intake
    •  Dressing
    • Ambulation and transfers
    • Positioning
    • Medication reminders
    • Visual checks on residents as assigned
    • Laundry and housekeeping tasks
    • Other duties as assigned within scope of practice
  • Follows the resident’s ISP as directed. Documents tasks in POC and timely medication administration in EMAR.
  • Communicates with the appropriate supervisor about changes in the resident’s status and/or the home situation
  • Utilizes standard precautions and infection control procedures
  • Follows written instructions and requests assistance and further instructions with new or unfamiliar situations.

Job Summary:

The Assistant Cook delivers Red Carpet Treatment to Residents, Visitors and Team Members by assisting in the operation of the kitchen, dining room, dish room, and related storage spaces. This position will also substitute for the Culinary Service Coordinator when that person is not on site and have the overall responsibility for operating the Culinary Service Department in a quality manner as specified in the Policies and Procedures Manual. Hours may vary from 6:00AM – 2:30 PM or 10:00 AM – 6 PM or as scheduled by the Culinary Service Coordinator and every other weekend

Essential Functions:

  • Prepare food and assist serving in the dining room.
  • Wash dishes.
  • Clean kitchen and dining room.
  • Follow cleaning schedule.
  • Use personal protective equipment, as required.
  • Use proper body mechanics for lifting, pushing and pulling.
  • Report unsafe conditions to the Culinary Service Coordinator.
  • Maintain sanitation in all areas.
  • Fill in, as needed or requested.
  • Respond to smoke and fire alarm systems.
  • Comply with regulations regarding hair covering and hand protection during food preparation.
  • Answer telephone promptly and courteously.
  • Respond promptly to the Emergency Call System and take appropriate action.
  • Read the Communication Log daily.
  • Share ideas and comments you feel would benefit the Community.
  • Fill in when short staffed.

Job Summary:

The Housekeeper/Laundry Aide delivers Red Carpet Treatment to Residents, Visitors and Team Members by cleaning all apartments, doing laundry, and cleaning all common areas in the Community.

Essential Functions:

  • Deliver weekly housekeeping services and any additional services requested on the residents’ Individualized Service Plans.
  • Be responsible for resident and community laundry.
  • Be responsible for requisition, inventory, and storage of supplies.
  • Use personal protective equipment, as required.
  • Must be able to use housekeeping and laundry chemicals.
  • Maintain building cleanliness in all areas.
  • Be aware of any unsafe conditions and report them to the Manager immediately.
  • Write up work orders when maintenance needs arise.
  • Respond to smoke and fire alarm systems.
  • Answer telephone promptly and courteously.
  • Share ideas and comments you feel would benefit the Community.
  • Follow all Policies & Procedures and the Employee Handbook.
  • Start Blueprint Form, as needed, and give to Marketer for follow up.
  • Be a part of the safety team and committees as requested.
  • Attend bi-weekly in-services and all mandatory meetings.
  • Use proper body mechanics when lifting or pushing.
